    I need a audio driver for a old Asus cuv4x motherboard.

    I been to the Asus support and none of the drivers work? (unless I give them my credit card no.) which I will not do.

    She updated from XP SP3 to Vista Home Basic and lost the sound.

    CPU Pentium 3 866 Mhz
    Ram 1.2 GB

    Thanks Plodr, I'll tranfer her old data to her new computer and give that old Asus the foot stomp.

    No foot stomp needed. After 98 updates it works great.
    I have sound and ever thing else seems to work.
