I have an Asus Eee PC T91. I am connected to my wifi and the connection is strong but I am unable to open any web pages in my browser. I have tried the following:

    1. Resetting my modem/router
    2. Updating the network adapter driver (Atheros AR9285)
    3. Setting the network adapter power save mode to "Off"
    4. Made sure the TCP/IP was set to auto detect
    5. Turn off my firewall
    6. Uninstalling the network adapter and reinstalling it
    7. Triple checking that the wifi password is correct
    8. Removed my preferred network and then adding it back

I am stumped. Can anyone help?

    Thanks in advance!

They'll want to know which version of Windows and what internet browser(s) you're using.

    Windows XP
    Running IE

Just got off the phone with my ISP and the fix was this:
    1. Reset all IE settings under Tools > Advanced
    2. IE > Tools > Connections > LAN Settings > Uncheck all boxes
