ASUS K8V SE Deluxe Motherboard

    I have a problem. I bought this puppy with an AMD Athlon 64 3000+ processor, and the motherboard says only 1.5 volt video cards will work on it. I have a radeon x800 pro, and apparently it is 3.5 volts. Anyway I can make it work, because honestly, this is bull and I don't have another video card, and I don't have $500 to spend on another video card just for 1.5 volts.

    okay, after moving my speakers to the motherboard plugs, the voice POST says 'system failed cpu test'. I bought the socket 754 3000+, and the K8v SE is socket 754. Should I RMA the processor?
