Asus laptop

    Recently got a factory restoring CD for my Asus Laptop and it worked, but i have no idea why it is 20x slower than what my laptop used to be before and when i start it up it always says "Setup is preparing your computer for first use" or something like that and when i get on and i try to download something like Google Chrome it shuts off my computer and it just completely restarts..Tell me where i went wrong?

    Did you do the complete reinstall? Or just a Last Known Good Config?

    I say this because I was thinking it could be spyware/a virus.. but it could be a deeper issue if it just shuts off on you.

    Could be a motherboard issue, for instance.
