Asus MB gone bad

    I have an Asus motherboard and the primary ide has gone out...I have a raid array 0 set up but when I boot up the system it says hard disk not found press F1...is there any way I can get another mb with the same raid controller and plug these drives in so I can recover my data?? thanks for any help:eek:

    Have you checked your BIOS to see if anything has changed in there? Try loading the BIOS defaults (usually F5 while in BIOS setup), and rebooting. Are you sure the IDE went out? It's more likely the hard drive has gone out. Very seldom do IDE controllers die (it does happen, though it's rare). Go to your hard drives manufacturer's web site and try their diagnostic tool.
