Asus network adapter defective?

I have attached a complete computer analysis, which has all the information about my system that you could possibly want or need to know. This is my second Asus laptop, and it seems, my second defective adapter. It would be really great to know if the issue is indeed my network adapter or if it is something else. It is slow and unresponsive, continuously drops the connection and times out while retrieving websites. I just purchased this laptop and the person I bought it from wiped it clean on the 7th of August. I see that Win8 was the original OS and it was upgraded to 10. There was a period where it worked just fine. It started to have problems when I attempted to connect to my TV via HDMI. I have since performed a system restore and various troubleshooting efforts through Windows. It again worked fine for a few weeks then BOOM....it's jacked up again! Thanks for any and all proffered assistance.

Normally in a case like this, it is recommended that you uninstall third party WiFi connection software and let Windows do the job. I've seen such issues repeatedly over the years, especially with HP.

 

Hi mekanic, I don't really understand what you're saying. Could you elaborate? HP? I don't think I have anything made by Hewlett Packard. Thank you for responding so quickly.

sorry, allow me to clarify. If you have any Asus connection software that aids you in connecting to a Wi-Fi network, uninstall it.

HP was just an example of a nominal offender when it comes to third party software doing a poor job when Windows will connect to a network natively.
