ASUS oopsy!

    if you recently ordered a asus p5gd1 mobo and decided to download the manual to check it out before you got it, you might get a little worried.

    all over the place it states that the p5gd1 only supports 184-pin DDR ram but...

    in the manual on page 23, there is a picture of the mobo layout. here you can see that the picture shows 4X 240 pin ram slots(DDR2!!) oh no!!!! you ordered the wrong ram!

    i called asus and the guy said "those guys in taiwan do this all the time, we try to tell them to fix it but they never listen"

    anyway, just thought it was kind of a funny story (when i saw the layout i was bummed cos i thought i bought the worng ram)

    P5GD1 = 184-pin DDR
