Asus PG5G41-M LX having issues getting/Installing video driver

Hey guys,

Great forum!!!

Im trying to install the video driver for my Asus PG5G41-M LX and all the drivers I have found from Asus or online have not installed and have gotten error messages.

I did install the audio drivers fine without issue.

What OS are you running?

This should be the correct drivers for it.

Im running windows XP not sure if its 32bit or 64bit. Thanks for the link

 

If you right click the My Computer icon and go to Properties it will tell you the OS and Service Pack number. If it doe's not say 64-Bit, it is 32-Bit.

If you don't have a My Computer icon on the desktop, you can go to Control Panel and double click the System icon for the same information.

I downloaded that pack and when I tried to install it I got the error messaege...

"this computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing
this software."

I checked where its says I have service pack 3 there is no mention of 64bit or 32bit?.

Any tips on what I can do?.

 

Are you using the onboard video or do you have a separate video card installed?

 

Your running the 32-Bit system then so you must use the 32-Bit driver.

If you were using the 32-Bit XP driver for the onboard graphics and the driver from the manufacturer doesn't install, I have to ask where you got the Asus Model number from, The board itself or a sticker somewhere on or in the computer? Verify the number on the main board.
