ASUS Ti4200 video card problem

ok the fan on my video card keeps stoping and will not come back on till i restart the whole pc so i cleaned the fan on it and i get the same problem so what i was wondering is does thin mean that the fan is starting to fail? (stock fan too) and if so does this mean the the card its self might fail soon too?

16x dvd-rom sony
40gig hdd

 

replace the fan and you should be good to go again
