Hi guys,

Me again, sorry to bother you but I have managed to get myself into another fine mess, last night while trying to get my (Asus CD/DVD - RW Lightscribe DRW1814 BLT) to work as a writable drive and not just a rom drive i accidentally deleted the drivers, I tried putting the motherboard cd (Gigabyte GA 48X DQ6) in to re-install the drivers and ''obviously'' it didnt work, I tried to download the motherboard drivers to get the drive working again but I couldnt get drivers that worked, now im totally stuck as I cant even get the proper drivers for the motherboard and I also need the right drivers/firmware for the Asus DVD/RW.

Please can somebody help :confused

These should be all the drivers for your board. The chipset drivers are what you need to install first.

BTW Those are XP drivers.
