Asvab

Anyone take the ASVAB? That is some hard stuff on there... I got an 89, which is really good. Anyone else?

 

I took the asvab back in 88' got a 94 became a Navy Nuclear Power Plant operator.

with your score you should take the Nuclear Math Physics test and see if you can be a nuke. they get more rank and more money than other enlisted people, plus they get one hell of a reenlistment bonus, back when I was going to reenlist back in 92 they offered me $30,000. but I sure it's way higher now.

 

Hmm, not a bad idea. Although to be honest, I would LOVE to go Spec Ops. I'm going to airborne school next summer, and hopefully Ranger training after that, then maybe Special Forces if I can make it. But thank you for the info, love keeping options open.

 

I took it back in 2000 and got believe I got mid 90's. I had my pick of jobs. 98C (Army) was the most interesting to me. Offered me a sign-on bonus, college fund, etc.

 

Took it in 1980, scored in the 90's as I recall (I have slept since then . . . ). Became a Public Affairs Specialist (journalist) in the Air Force, as I wanted to get into writing.
