AT&T Communication Manager vs. VISTA Home Premium

I'm on my third AT&T Sierra Wireless LaptopConnect Mercury and my HP Notebook, VISTA Home Premium, will only recognize it as a mass storage device. I removed the MicroSD card and still nothing. AT&T customer service and Bestbuy have been no help. I tried to uninstall it and it doesn't seem to be uninstalled all the way. Can anyone shed some light so I can get it to reinstall and recognize my wireless card?:confused

 

I'm trying to read along so forgive me if I state the obvious...
When you plugged it into your laptop you only got mass storage detection ??
when it appears as a mass storage, does it show a file on that device.
From what I read ther does not appear to be a software disk, thats why I'm assuming it must be on that device, or the SD card you are speaking of.

I posted 3 links that i hope can assist you..
first unplug the card put it to the side.
Start by removing the program use add and remove, if that does not work try the 3rd link revo. After you get it uninstalled reboot, then run the 2nd link ccleaner also use the registry tool, when it prompts you to save a copy of the registry click yes
After it's runs, reboot the computer.
The first link takes you to your cards driver page. Download the driver to your computer and if it prompts you to run it , run the program.
Lastly install the card and see if it recognizes it if it does then you should be on your way.
