ATA, SATA etc...

Hey, I have a confused brain, and may not ACTUALLY have a problem, I need help deciphering differences between all the ATAs and SATAs and stuff.

I was wanting to install a:

Hitachi 1TB SATA II (3GB/s)
and
WD Raptor 150GB (SATA 150)

What I have installed are:

Hitachi 250GB ATA 133
and
WDC 300GB SATA II (this was before I started rummaging around in ATAs etc

My specs are:

Compaq sr1937uk
Asterope2 mobo
Pentium D 3.2
2GB RAM DDR2
GeForce 7500 LE
XP Home

I was just wanting to know what speeds run on my comp? and if those two drives will be fine on it?
My Hitachi is working, but completely different connection isn't it? AH im so confused, help anyone?

Looks like you can have 4 SATA and up to 4 IDE drives. You should have no problems hooking up the other 2 SATA drives. I could not tell if your mobo is SATA 1 or SATA 2, but SATA 2 is backward compatable.

So to make it simple, you should have no problems using the drives.
