I'm building a new system but I have to wait a while to save up enough funds for some new hard drives. Right now I have a Maxtor 60GB - ATA133 and a Western Digital 160GB - ATA100. How much of a performance difference is there between my current drives and the prospective drive (Western Digital Caviar SATA 3.0Gb/s) I plan on getting. I also might grab two of these and put them in a RAID 0 setup.

    Thanks for any help.

    New System:
    AMD64 3700+
    ASUS A8N-E nForce4 Ultra motherboard
    2GB Geil Ram
    XFX 7900 GT

The second one is a Sata 150 drive.

Thank you so much for running that comparison. That's a nifty program too, I just picked it up.

    Thanks!
