ati 5650 vs ati 6370

so i have choice between these two laptops. which one is better u guys think?

acer
i5-430M or i3-350M (not sure)
8 gig ram
2 500 gig HDs
17.3 inch

ati 6370:
hp
phenom II P960 (quad core)
4 gig ram
640 gig HD
17.3 inch

does the acer brand suck tho?

If the i5 system really is an i5 and not an i3, then it wins hands down. As to the Acer brand, they are no better and no worse than any of the second tier computer makers.

But ACER doesnt suck at all, they are a major producer of laptops/netbooks and PCs and while they have a low end series their brand is no better or worse than that of HP/Sony/Dell etc (they also now own eMachines, Gateway, Packard Bell to name a few) and is iirc the number 2 PC maker in the world suppasing Dell!

I have two ACER laptops and they have lasted for many years.

cool. I just bought the i5. yes it was an i5 actually. 800$ canadian. good deal huh?
I'm relieved to know acer is good.
