ATI All In Wonder 9600XT - Drivers Wont Install After windows re-installation

Hi guys,
Firstly well done on the best site on the web for general or specified pc help & guidance. Just got help removing the virtumonde virus and abri was great help.

Basically this problem arose when I was tryin to remedy the above situation.
I re installed windows but could not find my original disk or my graphics card cd. So, after re installing windows my pc will not show above "1024 x 768 pixels" resolution.

I have downloaded the driver:
"8-4_xp32_dd_ccc_wdm_enu_60999.exe"

But it still wont install i get the error message bellow:




I have an ATI All In Wonder 9600XT 128MB DDR - windows xp sp2. any help would be great thanks.

 

Did you install your motherboard drivers first? I ask because the mobo drivers have alot to do with making all the chipsets work together. If there not working correctly perhaps your card is not seen because there is no agp driver installed to the motherboard video chipset. You can look in your Device manager for any yellow exlamation marks indicating needed drivers.
