ATI driver Problems

Yo, I know this might be better in the games forum but there is more to the problem. I run win98 cos its better for the internet but i think its having problems with my new graphics card drivers. I have recently upgraded to a Radeon 9600SE and have noticed that when i run demanding 3D games like Vice city, my computer justs reboots half way through the loading screen...this happens every time?! I upgraded my PSU. And graphics card drivers to the latest version, and i still can't fix the prob...I looked in Dx Diag...my Dx9 is working ok, but i have this message in the display TAB:

"The file ATI2DRAG.DRV is not digitally signed, which means that it has not been tested by Microsoft's Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL). Current drivers tested for a WHQL logo are only available on Windows ME, Windows 2000, and Windows XP. New Windows 98 drivers are no longer tested for WHQL logos."

I don't want to install XP cos it attracts loads of viruses...is there anything i can do otherwise??? Urgent Problem!!!

 

Disable fast write in bios, that should fix your problem.

 

I never had fast write on in the first place..it was on of the first things i looked at?
