ATI Radeon 9200 help

    I need some help on My ATI radeon 9200 pci 128mb gfx card When i install it and restart my comp it will start up as usual but instead of coming to the login screen it goes to a black screen My moniter is on but my keyboard is not

    i tried ATI support but no help there

    OS Windows XP SP1
    Processer Intel Pentium 4
    type of computer Dell 2400
