HP Media Center computer (2 yrs old); working fine until December when video drivers went tits up. I was in Afghanistan and coulnd't talk my wife thru anything. Got home and restored them - sort of. Now when I start up it tells me there are no ATI drivers loaded - even after I load them. Device Manager says that the drivers for the card are working properly - but they're not. Screen scrolls slowly and games do not work (usually get a box that says the 3-D engine isn't working.

Any ideas? I tried reinstalling the drivers from the ATI CD that came with the computer, and then installed the latest drivers from ATIs website, but still no dice on having the thing up and running like it's supposed to.

    Thanks.

    Hey guy,
try the ati website, mainly here for you... If it still doesn't work try removing everything from your device manager as far as radeon goes and try a fresh install from there.

    http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html

    choose your operating system.

    card ect..

then it will give you your drivers!

this is based on winxp/pro drivers for ati radeon 9250

also, for your game support try this...

its for opengl drivers, based on your system type it may be useful, Hope I helped
