once again, ATI has managed to take video card performance up a notch. with the release of these two new cards, ati mantains its standing as (in my opinion) the bst card money can buy.

Wow, thats really quite good! I wish I had the money to spend on these things because I would buy one of those if I did. I cant really justify a new graphics card right now because my current one is working very nicley ;)

I so wanna see this thing in action!

all i can say is holy Sh**!!!! what a video card. yeah, i wish i could buy it too.

If it is similar to the GeForce 6800 Ultra, it has a downside. the 6800 Ultra requires a 480 watt power supply to run effectively. im happy with my 9600 pro :)

yeah, these new ones require essentially the same power as the 9800s

I've never bought an ATI video card before. I currently own a Ge Force 4600 TI Ultra Deluxe from Asus. To move into the ATI arena will see me miss nvidia much. i still get impressive framerates but im limited to the 4x bus as my mobo supports agp pro 8x my current system now can handle ut2004 still with ease. so its one of the oldest upgrades for a while. I might buy an upgrade twin cooler for the 4600 but it will be an essential upgrade. and i've heard that im ok with a 9800xt as long as can spare a 4 pin molex for power supply as its a big power guzzler. my system specs are below -

lian li pc 60 aluminium case. (no modifications yet)
    asus a7n8x deluxe nforce
120 gb 8m western digital caviar oem
    liteon dvd rom 48x
    liteon cdrw 40x12x48
xp 3200+ barton with volcano 7+ HSU
dual channel 466mhz 3700 xms corsair paired 1 gig
Asus Nvidia 4600 TI 128mb ddr
creative audigy 2 pci internal sound card on t7700 7.1 upmix speaker set

    have a nice day folks

I got a Creative 3D Blaster 4 Ti (a GeForce4Ti, 4200) which runs UT2004 great! Recently i got an ATi Radeon 9200 PCI for my other PC, and it seems to be performing very well, very good value.

I really dont know what my next video card upgrade is going to go like... Maybe I'll go for an ATi solution, or maybe an nVidia... but right now I'm happy because I can play my favourite game with no problems :)
