is the ATI RADEON X800 XL 256MB GDDR3 AGP Graphics Card a good card??

 

you have like 4~ threads going around on the same subject. good is a relative term, google reviews of it.

 

its faster than a geforce 6800GT but not as fast as a 6800 Ultra, when runing 3d Mark 05. all in all i would say its a good card.

 

Are you planning to put it in your agp x4 mobo?

 

if you think the answer to the above tread is yes, then your incorrect before you even answered. x800XL only comes in pci-e.

but yes its a good card. ati > nvidia

Be honest with yourself when it comes to Expectations VS. Cost.

You still never provided all these fine people with the specs of your system other and 4X AGP.

Just because its a $350 video card does not mean its going to work well in your system of provide you with the capabilty you want.

 

update the mobo, i say.. or get the card now and do it later if ur not happy with 4x agp
