Ati TV tuner card Software. PLEASE HELP!

Hi, I have an ATI TVWONDER VE tuner card, and it was working fine. Until... I had alot of problems on the computer, and did antivirus.com's virus scan. Well... it found viruses in the C:/Windows/Temp or C:/Windows/system32/Temp folder and I deleted the files. Now, when I turn on any program to use the tv, it says the progams path, and says it's not a valid WIN 32 application. I tried installing it again, but It gives the same error.

I downloaded a newer version of the ATI multimedia centre, tried installing and it gave me this error..it starts the install, but when it comes to 'Configuring Windows installer", it stops 1\4 way through.

Then I get this message:

"1608: Unable to create InstallDriver instance,
Return code -2147024894"

Could someone please help? is there anyway to get back those temp files or anything?

Try uninstalling everything that installed when you installed your ATI TVWONDER VE tuner card; go to add/remove and uninstall it, then make sure nothing is left behind like empty folders and regestry keys. After you are confident that ATI TVWONDER is totally wiped from your computer you should use your OS disk (boot from the disk) and run either (or both) CHDSK /R or CHDSK /F just to make sure that antivirus.com didn't screw things up when it deleted the virus and the infected files. If removing the virus and the infected files is causing the problem then CHDSK will repair your system. Now reinstall your ATI TVWONDER VE tuner card. Things should work again.

I don't know if this will solve your problem but I have had similar problems in the past and doing something like this has worked.
