ATT U-VERSE Controller

I just got U verse, I was offered a great deal
but their remote control is horrible
I had dish network before, and tivo before that.
dish was awesome, their remote had a 10 sec jump button the worked really fast
tivo was by far the easiest to use, I just hated dealing with comcast for my cable

the big buttons arent there to fast forward, those buttons are at the top. but to select you must use the button in the center of the big arrow buttons
so you spend your time moving your hand up and down the control and god forbid if you want to increase the volume

I need a universal remote to replace this abdomination, does anyone know what will work? I know how to get a control for my tv, but for u-verse? no clue
