Attachment Icon

Hi,
I have attachment icon on my desktop. How do I get rid of it. Have done a lot of cleaning as per your malware removal section. Got eMail with legit attachment but lost it.
Specs: Amd1200 Win XP Home Edition SP2, Avg Anti Virus. IE6.O.
Hope you can solve my problem as boneyeye tells me you are the best.

Have you tried right clicking the mouse on it and scrolling down to delete?

Yes Idid that but unfortunately the menu does not have any delete or rename option. Thank you for replying.

click on it once then hold down shift and hit delete. If that doesn't work it's probably linked to something else that you need to get rid of. right click and hit properties and see what the target is if you can.
