Looks like a cool program. Have you found that it helps you improve your playing?

 

Yes! I can setup whatever I want and play along with mp3's or cd's etc. It also has online lessons and all sorts of stuff. I think you can get them at just about any store for 99 bucks. Hooks to your pc via usb. To bad you don't live closer, you could use mine for a while. Between that and Native Instruments Guitar Rig, I rarely use my amps at home anymore unless I'm testing new products.

bah minute I get the money I am so ordering that, I just got some little cheezy amp with distortion, havnt bought any pedals yet but with that I could fool around and find the sounds I like instead of buying pedals or an expensive amp, plus record anything onto the computer. That rocks!

Can you create distortions and share them as a file for others etc?

 

Yes you can share tones. Its costs around 8 a month to subscribe and you have access to TONS of peoples "Tone Lockers". You just download their tones and load them up and away you go. Im telling you, for a practice tool for home use, you can't beat it. You can record direct with it and that is priceless. Its not meant to be used as a live tool in a band setting. You can get a POD XT for that and run it thru a power amp and get great results.

 

That sounds really cool! I'm so amazed with everything we can do with our computer nowadays. We don't have a stereo anymore, because the computer does the job. Who woulda thunk?
