Attn: Tor users - Performance Tweaks??

I've recently started playing around with Tor.

I'm fairly impressed with the concept, but darn, performance is slow.

Do any other users have any performance tweaking suggestions?

I'm not so concerned about the security of my traffic; I'm not going to do anything illegal.

 

Um, thanks, but I'm already all over trimming services.

I'm looking for suggestions on tweaking the performance of Tor, not Windows. Sorry that I didn't really make that clear.

 

M_M, have you tried tweaking your Broadband settings?
I'm getting lots of different speeds, from different testing programs, from different cities (in USA, UK and OZ).
