audio ads!

    Sometimes when i'm surfin the net, an ad advertising a movie will just randomly start playing! I tried to remove it with Ad-Aware, but it is still doing it. Any other programs that will get rid of this? Also, what company is responsible for this spyware?

    I've had some complaints here at work about something like this. It turns out they have AOL Instant Messenger running and it was running movie ads with audio. Just thought I'd mention the possibility to you.

    Thanks for the quick reply, I'm going to ad the AIM ad server to my HOST list and see if that was the suspect.
