Hello everybody, I am having an issue ive been seeing around lately (or maybe its just me after doing a quick search, ive tried everything), " Hardware changes might not have been detected", it appeared out of nowhere and now its giving me a headache.

    • Checked the lastest driver from my mobo webpage
    • Malware/spyware search
    • CCleaned the registery
    • Uninstalled the drivers and "tried" to installed them again (didnt work because the PC doesnt recognize it)
    • Went to BIOS and checked that the audio was on

Also, after I remove it from the device manager it doesnt appear even after I use the "Scan for device changes" option.

My keyboard and my mouse used to d/c randomly after using my PC for a long period of time and gaming, so I am guessing it might be electric power issues?

I am sharing this because I found some good ideas from users from this page so I hope someone else can share any ideas too :(

    my mobo : MSI 770-G45 (MS-7599)

    Thank you.

    Hi Zapper

What Windows version and Service Pack are you using?

In Device Manager do you have any yellow ! mark by any device at all and if so what?

Also while in Device Manager click View and then Show Hidden Devices and in each section check for any "greyed" out entries and Uninstall them, you may have some corrupt drivers lurking.

Depending on what version Windows you have try this Fixit HERE and see what it says about your Audio and let us know as it may give a much clearer picture.

But what my quick thoughts are to install the Chipset drivers and in your case they are the ATI System Drivers and reboot and then install the Audio again and reboot and check.

    Thanks for your reply David!

I am using Win7 64x SP1 and ive tried FIXIT but it didnt work.

And yes, I do have 2 PCI device yellow ! mark, i uninstalled them and rebooted, nothing happened, i had to turn my computer off and then they appeared again.

I am currently downloading http://msi.com/product/mb/760GM-E51.html#/?div=Driver&os=Win7 64 , and hopefully it will work!
