Audio Cd problem...

Everytime I put an Audio cd into my computer, a messages pops up saying..."Windows cannot find mmjblaunch.exe. This program is needed for opening files ofo type 'AudioCD'." Then it promps me to locate the file. I've already searched my comp but to no avail... Does anyone know what in the world is going on??? This is driving me crazy, thanks in advance.

 

its looking to use musicmatch to play the cd. open the software program that you want to use to listen to the cd, open the preferences for the software, choose file types and make sure audio cd is selected.

 

Thatsthe same thing that happened to me. I deleted music match and now I can't play any audio Cd's. I have tried them in Winamp, windows media player, my CD player and a few other programs and none of them work. Please let me know if you get this figured. MusicMatch did something that has over rode anything else!

 

Well I am a little further today. What I found out found out after scanning my registry is that Musicmatch changes the registry files to work for it only. Until now I could not play my Audio Cd's because of it. I reloaded musicmatch and then removed it again. I then loaded a newer version of my old faithful winamp and now I can play Audio Cds again
My registry files have changed yet again but, I am still working on changing them so that I can play my audio cds in more than winamp since I like to also use my the built in CD player that came with my burner. Hope maybe this helps you a bit. I don't reccomend changing your registry files unless you are sure you know what you are doing.
