    Hello Click98.

Question, did you download the latest drivers from RealTech for your Motherboard?
When you did, did you try and manually tell your driver install to search in the directory of where the RealTech drivers are held. (Usually the same folder that it gets downloaded to, or it'll tell you when you go to install it) And did you try rebooting?

And it seems terribly weird that one set is working and one is not. The one in the back would be your Motherboard. But I'm wondering how the other one is connected, and if thats the case you may want to look into the latest MOBO drivers for your PC.

    Thanks.

    Hey Click

No biggy, thats what we're here for.

"Right Click onto the Audio Device on High Definition Bus"
    Left Click Update Driver

Choose No, Not at this time, as the option, and click Next.
Then, Install From a List or Specific Location, and click Next
    Don't Search, and click next.
Then Select, "Sound, Video and Game Controllers", and Next.
Then Select, "Have Disk" and a window is going to pop up. Go to the directory where the audio drivers are, and select them. And press okay.
Select on the driver, and then click next.

And then click Finish (If i missed anything or confused. Let me know.)

    Weird. Should be working.

    Okay.
Can you post your Device Manager screenshot with the yellow Q's and, also, I'll get you to uninstall that driver, and let it go back to the way it was and take a screenshot. I'm going to be gone for a few hours, but when I get back home I'll look into the drivers for this, because it should be working.

    HI

I would just add to whats been said already that, if you have downloaded the unified Realtek driver from the interweb, then to unistall it and get the driver from your motherboard maker sadly XFX needs you to register to gain drivers, but thats no issue really.

Reason I mention get the drivers speciffically from the mobo maker is that in many cases they customise them from OEM versions so the driver for some may not work for others, need exact driver.

Also check in Services as Elder is right this should be working for you that the Windows Audio Service is set to Auto and Started.

It looks to me like you need to install KB888111; it's the Microsoft UAA High-Def Audio update. You can download it from this direct link. After installing it, your sound should work, but you may need to restart your PC first.... good luck!

atlast success, what u have to do, "disable frontpanel jack detection". it is in realtec audio manager > audio I/O > settings
