Hello all, I have a problem with my new laptop purchased from a Best buy store.

    Here are some specs...

    HP Pavilion DV4 1155se
AMD Turionn X2 dual core mobile ZM 82 2.20GHz
I am running 64 bit windows vista

After purchasing this computer I was pleased with everything except the sound quality. I have a lot of music and would enjoy being able to listen to it directly from Itunes without the annoyance of little crackling scratching sounds. I went to Hp's website and have downloaded the updates for the audio drivers. and the problem persists.

I recently stumbled upon the SWsetup folder on my C drive. I went into the drivers>audio folder and ran a setup application to hopefully solve my problem. The application claimed to run successfully but now, after restarting the computer, I received an error message when I open itunes. None of my music will play and I am honestly quite frustrated. I cannot even uninstall the audio driver now.

I am close to returning this machine, but I really dont want to because its great other than this not-so-small issue. Besides the fact that I got a good deal on it, it was the display model.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!!

    This issue has been resolved...

I installed Hp support and downloaded all available driver updates. The audio on my computer is now clear and crisp.

    Sweet.
