Ok so awhile back i had this headset http://www.turtlebeach.com/products/legacy-products/ear-force-x11.aspx and it broke so i got a one which worked fine until it broke. So now my brother had the same headset http://www.turtlebeach.com/products/legacy-products/ear-force-x11.aspx , which he gave to me. But it does not work, neither does my iphone headphones and speakers. So i went looking all over the net trying to look for a solution.

    I have downloaded this http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...dlc=en&lc=en&os=2093&product=3445434&sw_lang=
    Nothing happened...
I have downloaded this http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads...evel=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false#High Definition Audio Codecs
    Nothing happened...

When i say nothing happened, I mean it downloaded great and then it told me to restart my computer. After i restarted my computer it was like i didn't do anything...

Here is a screenshot of what i think could be usefull to you guys.

Hi scamp and welcome to MG's,

Download the free, Speccy http://majorgeeks.com/Speccy_d6358.html then run Speccy and click File > Save as Text File, then attach the log as per instructions below (note: as Speccy also now lists more data it likely will have your Windows licence serial key also in the log, so look for Operating System and under that Serial Number and delete the code and Save the log)

Then attach your log to your next post as per these instructions http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=86880

once I have viewed your log I will try to assist in getting your audio back for you :major

Have you checked to see if your audio is enabled in your bios?? your board does have a realtek chip and should support the realtek driver, though your report shows that you have an AMD soundcard installed, on the back of your tower do you plug your speakers/headphones into the I/O plate or in an expansion slot ??

if it is the expansion slot please remove the card and post the cards make and model here for me to get the correct driver for you.
