I just purchased an ACER 4730Z from bestbuy and re-installed Vista with a clean install of Vista Business. Know I can't play music on my computer because it says no audio device is installed. I've tried downloading the driver from ACER and Realtek but everytime it says there is an error in the install. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

    Hi

Did you install the Intel Chipset Drivers first before the Audio? as in many cases this Chipset driver is needed to be installed first before many components such as Audio, USB, LAN is picked up correctly.

In Device Manager if you have any Yellow ! Marks or Red ? Marks by any devices let us know what they are.

Also if you get an error in the install of the driver, do let us know in full what this error was as in many cases it can highlight the cause.

:( Unfortunately, Halo's link above just directs you to a search page. Not a big deal really, just enter the model number from the drop-down menu and you're good to go, or just use this link for the chipset drivers. Then install the other drivers after a reboot. :-D
