Ooh dlb, you just made my day/night, I think. So these apps that you have mentioned will strip the audio from an .flv file?

 

I'm pretty sure that Audacity can but I'm not exactly sure how, I know it can be used to record audio from the web if you follow the steps in the forum link in my post above. Hi, I like this one. it's very basic. you can extract the audio then burn to cd using nero or whichever and listen to the tunes in your car. works nice

 

In addition to these, here is another that I have used, one thing about this link is it lets you convert WAY more than just audio & video. Has options for many document types, I think it's definitely a bookmaker. <-- new word I made up.

Is there a freeware that lets you create a slideshow with music and convert to a format that will play on a dvd player?
