So ever since i have built my new pc (2 weeks ago), my audio has been out of sync with the video (the video comes late). And it's really weird because i've never had these problems earlier. Anyways, the audio is out of sync mostly when watching livestreams on twitch.tv and when watching some people it's more out of sync than some people. It's a bit out of sync sometimes when watching a youtube video or netflix also. Im using razer headset btw. The audio is not out of sync so much, but this really is a problem and i have struggled with this issue for about two weeks now, so the help would be appreciated.

    Any ideas for this??

Hi very likely you need codecs to sync video and audio, I use Shark Codecs and work well as no issues in dleay on video to voice ive noticed https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/win7codecs.html

Also check Windows upto date as well as check all drivers are latest, check with motherboard makers for latest and update if needed.

Try running chkdsk /f in command prompt too.Errors on Hard drive can cause stuttering effects.

I use CCCP works works well. CCCP (Combined Community Codec Pack) 2015-10-18

I can play all most all types of videos on my Windows media player. No third party media player needed.

FYI where is your OS location on the Barracuda drive or Samsung SSD.If you're Os is on the 1TB drive than this could all so be an issue. But if it's on the SSD it should not be doing these type of things.

So check both disk for errors through command prompt.Use the Chkdsk /f command and make sure all your drivers are up to date.

My windows is installed to my SSD and i dont think that it's a good option to run the chkdsk /f, because i read on the internet and many people said it got stuck and it could damage your HDD, so...

    Run chkdsk in read-only mode.
Here's a batch file that'll do it for you. Upload the log file.

chkdsk /f does not get stuck???? don't know where you read this miss information.

I have never seen checkdsk f ever stop responding. The only way it would do this is if your system is corrupted badly.

It might take a little longer yes if it has errors. But i have never seen it ever not respond. And i have been using computers for 20 some years.

I would not have recommended it.If i did not think it would have not worked.

If i sound like i am tired i am i have been up for 19 hours now.17 of them working.
