I did a new install of XP (burnt copy) on a Foxconn/winfast MB and i don't have any sound. When i went to the Realtek site to install the AC97 audio driver the system keeps rebooting. It sees the new multimedia hardware, but when it tries to install, thats when it reboots.

Can anyone help with this issue??? System is runnin on a AMD Sempron 2800 w/ 1.6ghz cpu.

first of all,go to right click my comp>properties>advanced>startup and recovery, and uncheck-automaticaly restart. This is for rebooting.
Now try to install the drive in safe mode.
    and WELCOME to MG:D;)
