Audio Issue

    I'm having a problem when I play a DVD or CD the audio has popping sounds and static. I think it may be a windows software conflict. Can anybody help me fix this.

    I will try that but is a brand new Dell and I'm sure the drivers must be up to date.

    Have you tried calling dell support??? It's a free call so you only lose time. :D

    yes I did call them, they made the problem worse not better. I thought someone here may have some experience with the issue. This is crazy it's driving me insane.

    We'l that isn't that surprising. Have you tried the windows help and support? It has a big part in DVD troubleshooting. ;)
