This is the second time I am posting about this issue. It is absolutely driving me bonkers! Someone please help me!!! I download a lot of video files to burn to DVD. Up until recently I have had no problems. Now 75-80% of the video files either play no audio or just static. I use UTorrent to download the files. I play them back on Windows Media Player. I burn DVD's using ConvertXtoDVD. I run Windows 7 Home Premium. I have cleaned up my laptop using several malware removal utilities, but this has not helped. Please give me some advice on how to rectify this situation. Thanks in advance

I really don't think it is the burning software. I have tried others and am getting the same results. Even before I burn, when I just play back the video I am experiencing these audio issues. Thanks for the advice though. Hopefully someone else out there has an idea as to what is going on.

Sounds like you had some sort of codec package installed, that was removed/damaged during malware cleanup, that you may need to reinstall, look at the install software on your computer for a codec package.
