Audio Problems...

I am building a HTPC and I have run into an audio problem. No matter what driver I found for this board I cannot get it to work. No sound at all. anyone else have any issues with this?

Here is my specs on my new HTPC:
Intel Pentium D 805 Smithfield 533MHz FSB 2 x 1MB L2 Cache LGA 775 Dual Core,EM64T Processor 2.66ghz

Intel Desktop Mobo D101Ggc

1 gig of GSkill 400 ddr ram (2-3-3-6)
Maxtor 300 gig HD
Maxtor 200 Gig HD
3d connect Radeon X800 GTO

Installed the audio drivers after the chipset drivers straight off the website.

Help!

 

Also tried Realteks ALC861 codecs but they didn't work also.

This is intels new High Definition Audio. (onboard)

yes I downloaded drivers from this page:

I have not updated the bios . I dont have a floppy to boot to dos

 

have you ran the setup for the drivers from the CD? setup.exe?

 

well , I bought the board off a buddy and his son lost the cd..

Well about after 3 hours of searching for the right driver I also found the HD 1.32. Don't know why the others don't work but oh well. This new concept is awesome. I Can't believe I get true 5.1 outta a single mic plug. Call of duty 2 sounds crazy on my onkyo reciever. Thanks for the help Komodo!

 

glad you got it!! you should now be able to update to the latest drivers
