When you install audio and video codecs where are they installed to? I can't seem to find the location.

depending on codec installed they can go to 1 of 2 places generally, Codec's like Ligos Indeo & DivX are found in C:\Program Files most of the others are located in C:\WINDOWS\system32

Just about all codec utilities like G Spot, AVICodec, Video Inspector etc will all tell you the exact name of the codec/s installed and path/s, and most are freeware.

Most as stated above, are in the \system32 folder in XP, or \system for 9x Windows.
