All I can say is I wish I had been vaccinated for polio. 26 vaccines?:eek I'm going to have to read that list and see what diseases I and my kids lived through.:confused

Great site, I bookmarked it and going to send it on to Family.
Yes, the FDA is a joke

Sorry augie, I never was vaccinated for polio, lucky I guess. Missed a whole lot of vaccines living with my grandparents, could be why I'm healthy (the smoking doesn't count, my doing :( )

Think I heard Jenny McCarthy mention on TV to check th CDC site for bad vaccines. I do know a lot of doctors who give that crap do not give it to their own.

It's not 26 but 14 on this page for children. I don't know, it's not as if the pharmas can do double blind studies on kids eh? I do know the FDA has approved some things that their own doctors advised against and I believe there was a resignation or more but I can't remember what, it was for adult meds. There may be other factors too. Pesticides are neuro-toxic for insects so may affect children's development too.

Did you know the average number of manmade chemicals in adults is some 260. Sure they test each one for 'safe' adult levels but put all them together and who knows what synergistic effects they may have on a nursing infant. However, look at the quality of health these days, how much grief, pain and death vaccines have countered.

I'm not saying there isn't a link but who is doing a study between non-immunized kids due to choice and immunized ones for autism rates to compare the two, I bet the Amish would be a good group for that. Only the government could do that. I would worry more about childhood obesity and the dramatic rise in type 2 diabetes along with other ailments associated with obesity though we as parents are no shining examples either these days. I wonder if the pharmas are subsidizing McD's or the their ilk to get lifelong customers.:-D

I'm not diminishing autism and it's effects on all involved, I'm just saying to let's keep things in perspective. There will always be disease but I do agree that we should not inadvertently poison ourselves either.

Anyways, I applaud Jenny McCarthy for not taking things sitting down by giving up after the diagonsis and also giving others some hope with her uplifting story. I'll stop here as I could go on for another ten points and put ya'll to sleep.;)

I think if your going to bring a human being into this world then you should do all in your power to make it a good life.
As soon as a child is born they start pumping toxins into it's pure little body (assuming the mother was healthy, drug free)
Now most people have forgotten how to eat, cook. Like you said augie the fast food trend is so out of control along with children's weights.
Disneyland is redesigning a lot of rides, ie; It's a Small World because it's bottoming out due to the fact people are more than double the weight they were in the 50's.

I heard a story of a woman, writer, journalist something who lived with her two children in an apartment NY I for eight years.
She moved and sold her apt to a friend who told her the stove didn't work. The seller told her to call a repairman and she would pay to have it fixed.
Turns out the stove had never been connected. :confused How can someone live 8 years w/kids and never use the stove. Good Grief!
