Auto Download!!??¿¿??!!

    ok you know when you click on somthing to download it a box pops up and u click save then tell it the folder then download it blah blah......

    Well Now when i click on somthing to download not only dose it just auto download it but it opens it to...... and thats not good for the safty of my comp......

    I tried going to tolls internet options and resteting my settings and it didnt work...... anyone have any idea how to change this?
    (im use Xp with with IE 6)
