Auto-hide XP desktop toolbars disappearing ?

    (3) Auto-hide (pop out from sides and top) desktop toolbars occasionally disappear (all at same time) and need to recreate.

    Toolbar 'folders' are all on desktop.

    Does not effect any other part/s (icons etc) of desktop.

    Any idea/s why the disappearance ?

    Any way possible to lock toolbars without locking anything else ?
