Searched related posts but... Am running Windows Me. Had a "PC Health Schedular for Data Collection Every 10 Minutes from 1:58 PM for 24 hours every day starting 3/4/2005" task in the Scheduled Items file (Program--Accessories--System Tools--Scheduled Items) This and another task appeared after a system restoration. I was able to delete other task with no problem but not the 10 minutes restart. Tried every option including, delete, disable, deleting with system restore disabled etc. But, it reappeared in the scheduled tasks after every shut down and subsequent 10 reboot. The "PC Health" is listed as a startup file in my "msconfig setup" so I unchecked that and am on selective startup. In this mode, the item does not show as a task in the scheduled items folder but the computer continues to auto start every 10 minutes. Otherwise seem to running ok. Reviewed similar items in search but non seem to be on task or I did not understand. My signature says it all. 1st post. Sorry about the length.
