Windows 98 and earlier MS OS PC users will remember tweaking Autoexec.bat and Config.sys to get the most out of their PC's.

I notice Autoexec.nt and Config.nt are also included in XP Pro, and Home (I guess).
Is anyone using them in XP?

I also notice the LoadHigh command (lh)in autoexec.nt.

Is anyone using LoadHigh in XP for other programs that can be loaded high?
    Or don't you bother?

I see autoexec.nt is in C:\windows\system32 so it is read as part of the Path command,
so I assume that the LoadHigh commands are executed.

I am interested in using the "unused" portion of high ram, above 640kb and below 1 meg, as an experiment.

This will stretch the "old" guys grey (gray) matter, and bring back memories, for long time MS OS users.
