 This thing is driving me buggy. It connects to the internet automatically. I am running Windows XP on an 8600 Inspiron laptop. I have went to internet options and clicked never dial a connection to no avail. The open port comes up on my desk top and away we go again. If I cancel it momentarily pauses and dials again. Can someone please help. Thanks

However, it may not be Malware calling home but a legitimate piece of software, e.g., Anti-virus, etc. If you have a Firewall enabled and you have logged outgoing connections then you should see an entry corresponding to whatever is attempting to connect.
