    Hi,

Is there a way I can have Windows automatically boot to one of my two bootable partitions instead of having to choose at startup each time?

    Thanks,
    James

And how would you ever access the other partition?

Actually if you wait the timeout it will boot to the partition of choice. The timeout is settable in boot.ini, you could choose a shorter tan standard 30 seconds Hoss.

Or just delete the line that you don't want to boot to in boot.ini, that'd be a lot more simple!

Changing the timeout is probably the best choice. Taking it to as little as 3 seconds still leaves you the opportunity to get at the second partition when you want (you just have to pay attention and be quick ;) or choose 5 -7 secs.).

    For XP:

    Right click My Computer
    Properties
    Advanced
    Start up and Recovery
Use the up and down buttons for changing Display of OS's
