Anyone know how to write a VB script for creating users in AD? Specifically what im trying to do, obviously, is automate user account creation in AD. I can write the script or find a script to use to create a user easily, that part is no problem so im not asking anyone to write me a script by any means...unless of course anyone wants to id be all for it :) anyway, im having trouble figuring out how to use a spreadsheet with a bunch of names of new users on it that a vb script will read to automate the creation of the new users. i know it can be done, i just dont know how...

does that make sense? anyone have any good resources on the matter or know how to do it?

I would probably save the spreadsheet as ascii with tabs or something rather than trying to get vbscript to read it from the spreadsheet file. Although, I think vbscript can communicate with Office. I am not familiar with this interaction, though, but you can read a line of an ascii file, and split the line by tabs to get the data for a row into an array with columns numbered starting with 0.
