autoplay prob

while playing game (UT)
in the middle of the game
the game will minimise and
a small autoplay window will open and search for something
i have to x the autoplay window
and maximise the (UT)
to continue playing

how can i solve this prob

that is a strange one.. your not opening / closing the drive?
or plugging / removing a usb key?

Maybe it is something in Unreal spinning up the disk? who knows.. but here is something to try... fix your Unreal to run without the CD.

Or you can disable autoplay all together if you are using XP pro.

* Click Start
* Click Run
* Enter GPEDIT.MSC
Group Policy mmc will popup. On left panel:
* Double-click Computer Configuration to open submenu
* Double-click Administrative Templates to open submenu
* Double-click System to open submenu
* Double-click Turn autoplay off option which will be near the bottom of the list in the right panel.

The default is the Not configured . Set it to Enabled.

Are you using a different OS?

 

I m using home xp there is no GPEDIT.MSC
There is no cd in any of the drives when i play UT
Its just wierd.............. and irritatting
