    I have gone into the Autorun options by right clicking on Drive D and E, and told it "take no action" when disc inserted. I still always get the pop up dialog asking what I want to do. Take No Action is selected, and the check mark is in the box for "do this every time". How do I make it go away?

    You can leave AutoRun on and accomplish what you want by going to services and disabling "Shell Hardware Detection". This stops the system from reading the media in advance but leaves autorun enabled to do installations.

    Start-> Run-> services.msc
